i came across daler when the "tunak tunak" video was big on the internet. i bought this album and every song is amazing. i gave this to the DJ at my wedding so we could freak out to tunak tunak and we totally did the dance from the video. lots of the guests didn't know what the hell was going on, but it was awesome!

Timothy, while I agree with your review, I felt compelled to bestow upon the world my praise of the man-god himself Daler Mehndi too. Without even playing this CD you will find yourself shaking in anticipation of actually hearing this man's voice. As Timothy has said, one finds it hard to express in words the exhilaration and elevation of spirit you will experience once hearing this magical song. I will try though. His genius is only exceeded here by his incredible charisma in his video. If you think his music is great, please see his Tunak video for the full effect. His greatly misunderstood lasso dance and angled finger slide will amaze you. Gaze in sheer horror and beauty when he crouches on all fours in the cracked dry earth and how the very planet splits open from the awesome power of his greatness. When he pounds his pudgy fists to the ground, its reverberations are felt deep within us all. It is with this same force that his music hits your soul. While I admit I have no idea what the hell he is saying, I know it must be something great. The climax comes when all 4 Daler clones merge into one mighty Super Hindi!! Although I must point out that the clone in red is the smartest because he is reluctant to join the other Daler's in forming the Super Hindi at first. The red one knows the world isn't ready for that much charisma to be rolled into one husky being. Even the video has to end abruptly once Super Hindi is formed, because your eyes might explode. Thank you Daler for not overloading our senses. This CD is just an introduction to all he has to offer mankind. Once you see the video, you WILL become a devoted and faithful Mehndist.

To the listeners of Tunak Tunak Tun,
Never before have I dedicated any developed portion of this site to the work of another man. However, I have witnessed genius in its purest form, and I feel it is my duty to spread this brilliance to all. Those who feel it might be somewhat odd that he sings these romantic lyrics of seduction to three clones of himself simply cannot appreciate nor fully comprehend the elevated thinking of Daler Mehndi.
Be sure to learn the mesmerizing dance that is performed during the chorus, which includes holding the right hand over the heart and slowly lifting the left hand as if holding a glass of wine while, clapping three times, extending the left arm forward while pretending to swing a lasso with the right hand above the head, and finally clapping three more times, all while rhymically bouncing to the beat.
Having experienced these four minutes and seventeen seconds of pure harmonic and visual bliss, I am rendered completely at a loss for words.
I feel honored to experience creativity in its purest form, and I hope that this message of absolute enlightenment will spread throughout the globe.
