Bend it Like Beckhan January 22, 2008 Lala Bear (Cuba, New Mexico USA) I bought this CD as a Christmas present for my sister and she loved it! I actually looked at other reviews from Amazon before purchasing this one. I'm very grateful that I did this before actually buying it. The version I bought for my sister is the import one from the UK with twenty-two tracks. A little more expensive but according to my sister it was worth every penny. It has all the songs from the movie, especially the indian songs which my sister wanted the most.
Great Album January 12, 2008 Music Goddess Was happy to finally find the version with all the songs unlike the American cut.
The name of this song??? February 5, 2007 Pamela A. Dougherty (New York, Dublin) Whats the name of that song thats playing when Jess pretends that shes sick at home while her family goes out somewhere just so she can sneak out and go play footy?
Great regardless of version - and there are 5 differences between Brit & Indian versions October 31, 2006 Traveler (New England) 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
This is a great soundtrack - found some Indian songs I'd never even heard of that I really like, especially "Jind Mahi" by Malkit Singh and "Tere Bin Nahin Lagda" by Partners In Rhyme with Nusrat Faten Ali.
Buyers should note that are indeed differences between the British (22 tracks) and Indian (21 tracks) versions. Make sure you order the one you really want by confirming with individual sellers about which edition they're actually selling. I myself ordered the British and received the Indian.
Here are the differences that really haven't been described accurately in previous reviews.
The British and American versions have these exclusive tracks:
Titles - Craig Pruess And Bally Sagoo Ft Gunjan
Hai Rabai - Craig Pruess And Bally Sagoo Ft Gunjan
The British version has this exclusive track:
Do Your Thing - Basement Jaxx
The Indian version has these exclusive tracks:
Move On Up - Curtis Mayfield
Rail Gaddi - Kuljit Bhamra
So basically there are five differences in total between the British and Indian versions while the American version is the most watered down.
Song at end between Jess and Joe on football field January 7, 2006 Mr. W. Cooper (Surrey, England) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I am begging anyone at all to help me.
I know this has been asked before repeatedly but if anyone knows the title of the song (possibly Indian) at the end where Jess finds Joe in the dark on the football field I would love you forever if you told me.
Not only is this my favourite piece of music, but i also I feel this is the ultimate piece for conveying powerful emotions and meaning and shows us how we should appreciate everything we have.
Help me please find it.
